8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
9. Use of donations
Donations to a cause. When you donate to a specific campaign or cause, your donation is intended for that cause. When you donate to “wherever the need is greatest” or without selecting a cause, Hope Lives Foundation will use your donation for its charitable work based on need.
Surplus funds. If a campaign receives more than it needs, the surplus will be used for the same type of work, such as meals, education, elder care, animal welfare or disaster relief, where the need is greatest at that time. Every surplus transfer will be recorded on our Transparency page.
How we deliver work. Hope Lives Foundation decides how each cause is delivered, including which people, families and areas receive help, based on need. Donations are used to provide services such as food, school supplies, elder care and relief. They are not given to individuals as cash unless we clearly state so for a specific program.
Videos, photos and stories. People shown in our videos, photos, testimonials and advertisements represent our work and are shown to create awareness. Showing a person in our content does not mean that donations will be paid to that person. Donations support the cause named in that content.
Donor agreement. By donating, you agree to how donations are used as described in this section.
